We may begin with you telling me a little of your story and what you believe has brought you into counselling at this point.
Working at your own pace, we will move compassionately between your past and your present to understand the difficulties and challenges you are facing. Perhaps things that do not make sense or make you feel angry, sad, or afraid.
We will explore the impact these challenges are having on your thoughts, emotions, and physical wellbeing to move through rather than moving on from your experience. Together we will work to make sense of your emotions, make changes in your life, or come to terms with things that are unchangeable.
The hope is that by gaining a better understanding of yourself and your choices, you can adjust toward finding your own resources and resilience.
