Before training as a therapist, I worked as an administrator and event co-ordinator for the Civil Service in London and for several years in the NHS.
 
I have a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care and a PG Diploma in Integrative Counselling from the Life-force School of Counselling in Colchester. 

​I have completed additional training to become a Bereavement Counsellor and an Anxiety UK approved therapist.

I have worked therapeutically in a hospice, academy schools, a counselling agency, as well as private practice in Shrewsbury.
 
I am fully insured and an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, (BACP) and belong to the BACP Register, a register for therapists approved by the Professional Standards Authority of Health and Social Care.
